FULL NAME: auden loraine yaxley.
NICKNAMES: auds, audey.
AGE: sixteen.
YEAR AND HOUSE: sixth, slytherin.
OCCUPATION: --
WAND: eleven and a half inches, ebony with dragon heartstring core.
APPEARANCE
PHYSICAL APPEARANCE:
at there can be no denying that auden is an extremely attractive girl. and she knows it. what do you expect, with even the smallest traces of veela blood in your veins? quite tall, like her father, auden did not inherit her mother's delicate and petite frame, instead boasting a much more..attention getting physique, a fact she bemoans almost daily. despite being more solidly built, auden is still quite slim. long slender legs are only emphasized by her penchant for extravagantly heeled shoes, and auden had learned just the knack to dressing, to reveal enough but not too much. auden likes to think she dabbles in fashion, and with stack of witches weekly lining her dorm room, it isn't hard to believe. auden is often seen in the newest styles, loving to play things a little risky when it comes to the length of hemlines and the cut of her blouses, though always keeping classiness in the back of her head, when dreaming up her next head turner.
however, auden need not rely on the assistance of the fashion industry to look her best. a natural beauty, in the purest sense, auden really doesn't have to put a lot of effort into being effortless. she wears her honey brown hair loose, in an intentionally mussy style and does like to toy about with the colour when ever she's feeling whimsical. expressive blue eyes hardly need any more emphasis, and auden rarely bothers with makeup, finding it too much of a fuss to apply. her most noticeable feature, and the one that auden is just starting to accept, are her beestung lips. as all brothers do, auden's brothers had been relentless in their childhood, teasing her about her pouty lips and it's taken auden quite a while to get over that.
PORTRAYED BY: rosie huntington-whiteley.
PERSONALITY
PATRONUS: arctic fox. it's a simple memory, while auden was on a vacation in the south of france with her family as a young girl. for whatever reason there's a vidid moment, of the three children burying the entire length of their father's body under a mound of warm sand, while their mother cheered them on, jesting good naturedly with her husband. there was true happiness in that moment, and it's never failed to produce a patronus for auden.
BOGGART: a shroud, representing a fear of death.
STRENGTHS: charming, manipulative, passable pianist, skilled herbology student, very knowledge in healing magics, determined, competitive.
WEAKNESSES: obstinate, hates to lose, easily distracted, impulsive, risk taker, wild imagination.
FEARS: death, failure, moths.
GOALS: making a name for herself apart from her family name, having her own accomplishments, having that fairy tale story romance.
PERSONALITY:
a mess of contradictions, auden will have your head spinning by the time she's done with you. most of the time she's a great girl. with a infectious personality and a contagious smile, auden's one of those girl who just exudes charisma. she's a charming witch, that's no doubt and has no trouble getting along with just about..well anybody. her parents have drilled the importance of blood purity into her, and while she does have some reservation about those outside of her house, or of a lesser blood status, auden isn't out to make any enemies, and she'll treat everyone more or less civilly. as sweet and easy going as the witch is, she has a hard time letting her guard down for just anyone. she only has a small circle of confidantes, and likes to keep a bit of a mask on for the rest of the world. however, no one can be that sweet, all the time. their head would explode from all of those niceties.
auden does have a bit of a bite to her, and though it takes a lot to provoke her temper, when she's angry, she's angry. she can be more then a little snarky, and auden knows where to hit to make it hurt the most. she's a very competitive individual, determined to always win, and she doesn't have any qualms about working hard for her victories, unlike many of her peers. however, she's a bit of a sore loser, and it isn't unusual for auden to sulk and pout, although quite becomingly, when things don't go her way. thanks to her lavish childhood, auden's used to getting things her way, and she's more then skilled at making sure things do go her way. she hates the connotations of manipulative, and likes to consider herself just very, very convincing and there's no denying that the girl has a way with words.
impulsive, auden's the girl who falls in and out of lust more then what's healthy for her emotions. she doesn't look before she leaps, and that's landed her into trouble in more then one or two relationships. a hopeless romantic, auden's always daydreaming for her prince charming, or her knight in shining armor. too bad the caliber of boys around the school barely come to par with the court jesters. none the less, auden doesn't seem to learn her lesson very well, and has bounced between short-term relationships for the past year or so.
HISTORY
FAMILY: list parentage, and siblings. feel free to include other significant people, or pets even.
HISTORY:
aafter the second great wizard war the yaxely family was not at it's brightest. gregor's father had been convicted in the unlawful imprisonment of halfblood wizards, and his involvement with voldemort only guaranteed the rest of his life spent in a cell in azkaban. with his father locked up and his mother attempting to numb the social embarrassment with an unlady like amount of firewhiskey, gregor yaxley had a dismal future to look forward too. he doubted he would ever begin to polish off the scandal on his once highly respected family name and gregor himself began to descend into the same state of depression that plagued his mother. luck would have it, that on one of the many nights that gregor spent slumped over a sticky bar top in a pub in the lower end of knockturn alley, should the loveliest girl take a seat next to the disgruntled wizard and offer him a smile.
gabrielle delacour was just the thing to lift gregor's spirits. she was a charming girl, with an infectious appetite for life, and just the right amount of simpering delicacy to catch gregor's attention immediately. miss delacour did not leave with gregor that evening though, instead leading him on a merry cat and mouse game that lasted weeks before the two finally engaged in a proper relationship. neither party had intended the affair to be anything more then that, a passing fling to move the time along until the pair were ready to grown up and act as responsible adults. however, the conception of auden's twin brother's put a halt to that plan, and after a whirlwind engagement, and a horribly lavish wedding the two were married. they were a strange couple, and always seemed to take a while to adjust to the sight of the tall, withdrawn and gaunt ministry official with his arms wrapped around his stain doll of a wife.
it was the birth of his son's that motivated gregor to set his life back it's rightful task, and with a good amount of hard work, and sly business tactics he was swiftly rising along the chain of power in the ministry, obtaining the very influential position as the head of the department of mysteries. however, that type of job never only brought prestige and wealth. long office hours, and frequent trips abroad followed, leaving gabrielle, inexperienced and young, with two baby boys to care for. the birth of her children had had the opposite effect on the former delacour, and she suffered from a mild case of post-partum depression that only grew worse with each of her husbands absences. it wasn't long until, miserable and hating the state of her marriage, that gabrielle succumbed to the temptation of an affair with evan rosier. a ministry worker, a few ranks lower then her husband, evan was handsome and willing to lavish gabrielle with the attention she so desperately craved. several months into the affair gabrielle discovered, with an acute sense of horror, that she was once again pregnant. with rosier's child. immediately calling off the affair, gabrielle paid rosier off, swearing him to secrecy and pretending that the child was another of gregor's.
auden was born on one of those dusky august evenings, a beautiful baby girl with enchanting blue eyes. her father, having no knowledge of her biological parentage, treated her like a princess, the eptime of a daddy's girl, and gabrielle, consumed by the guilt of her affair, made it her resolve to provide her husband and children with the highest quality of home life she could. because of this, auden grew up a happy, healthy child. in constant competition with her older brothers audey was no stranger to scrapped knees and tree climbing. however, as able as auden was to compete with her brothers, she was no stranger to the joys of being a girl and it had never been usual to see a young auden, trailing behind her brothers on their broom sporting the frilliest of frilly princess dresses. her mother ensured that auden was recieving the proper education for a young lady of her social class, and the witch was enrolled in a numerous amount of etiquette and societal classes, and received instruction in all the fine arts that mattered, dance and music. at first auden resisted these lessons. her brothers didn't have to suffer through them, why did she? after a while though, and an admirable amount of insistence on her mother's part, auden began to take solace in her musical lessons, and put up with the rest to keep her mother happy. to make her happier still, after her enrollment in hogwarts auden slowly dropped her interest in boyish things, like quidditch and toads, and began navigating the social waters with natural skill. charming like her mother, auden had no trouble climbing to the top, a place where she fully intends to stay.
NEED TO KNOW
ROLEPLAY SAMPLE:
Hayden had never intended to end up on the beach front, and yet here she was, standing a few metres away from the shoreline. Waves licked gently at the sand just before her feet, surging up gently and receding back only to push up against the sand again. Watching the play of the waves against the shore for a few moments, Hayden lifted her gaze up to the horizon. It was still early in the afternoon, and the sun glinted off the waters in a way that made it painful to study for too long, and after a few moments Hayden tugged her gaze away once more, doing a quick scan of her surroundings. Considering how lovely the weather had been lately, it was surprisingly empty. There was a large group a ways down the beach, just slight blurs on her eyesight, and several people were walking past with dogs on the boardwalk, a couple of younger girls rollerskating back and forth over the uneven wooden boards. Still a while down the beach Hayden could see a jogger running in her direction, but they were still too far away for the young woman to make out any details.
Shrugging off her light blazer in a fluid movement Hayden grinned in bliss as the sun hit her shoulders. Today was supposed to be a day to study, and get ahead on her homework, but like every other college student, Hayden had become somewhat of a pro at procrastination. When she had packed up her books at the end on her last class of the day, a lecture on moral issues affecting surgery practices, she had had every intention of going home to her dorm, grabbing a Dr Pepper from the mini fridge and settling down for a nice long revision. Of course, the moment she had stepped outside into the brilliantly sunny day Hayden realized that those plans would have to be put on hold, at least until the sun went down. It was too nice of a day not to enjoy it, and Hayden just started walking, off campus, and down the road to the beach, her feet taking her without any direction from the logical portion of Hayden's brain. Normally, Hayden wasn't the type of girl to lose focus and become distracted but day seemed to be the exception. She'd blame it on spring fever, if she had too.
Kneeling down in the sand, Hayden bent to untie her shoes. It seemed imperative to go wading in the shallow water, and she made quick work of the laces. Tugging off the left, and then the right Hayden set them in a neat pile in the sand, placing her bag next to the white oxfords. She was hardly wearing an outfit suitable for the beach, but Hayden had woken up with the urge to be frivolously girly that morning. Pale orange lace sundress, cream blazer and shoes that were just a tad too formal for true comfort and Hayden had felt appropriately feminine. Standing back up the brunette brushed the sand off her calves, noticing as she did so that she was in dire need of a good tan. Shrugging to herself Hayden wandering closer to the waters edge, creeping forward on the shore line, until the water just nipped at her toes with each passing wave. It was colder then Hayden had expected, given the warm weather and for a moment she reconsidered her decision. Glancing around she noticed that a few more people had arrived at the beach, although they were still a fair distance away from her, and the jogger she had seen earlier was coming increasingly closer.
