PHYSICAL APPEARANCE:
Sophia‘s long legs are her favorite part of her body. She stands tall at 5”6 which is the exact same height as her twin sister. She is slim but it is not from playing any sports. She actually tries to eat healthy and takes walks as much as possible. Her skin is an soft, olive complexion that always maintains a bright glow to it. Her dark, brown hair is always worn down. Nobody has ever seen it pulled up except for a few rare occasions. However, this Hufflepuff‘s hair isn‘t just the boring, straightened style. Soph will always have it curled in her signature curls. She is always smiling a wide, glistening smile that would like up ant room. Her eyes are a dark brown and will let you read her like an open book. They portray every emotion of hers. You can easily tell whether she is mad or glad just by looking into her eyes.
Although she is a twin, there is a way to tell them apart. Soph has a scar on her right wrist that she got from an ex. That scar is probably the only way to tell besides the way they dress or wear their makeup. This brunette is definitely the girlier of the twins. She prefers to always wear nice clothing. Her favorite options are skirts, dresses, and heels. She likes to look good and makes sure to show it too. Sweatpants and a sweatshirt are something she would never be caught wearing. Her makeup isn‘t always natural. She likes to make it a tad bold or at least noticeable. Soft blues or grays is her normal colors she uses for eyeshadow. She is a fashionista and it clearly shows.

PERSONALITY:
Sophia is not one to easily open up to anyone that isn’t her family. She is very cautious and wary of everyone she encounters. However, she wasn’t always this suspicious. Her last boyfriend took a huge toll on her by abusing her. That is the main reason behind why she hardly trusts anyone. She hasn’t let that completely destroy her. It has just made it harder for her to trust another guy. This girl is probably one of the nicest ones you’ll ever come across. She tries not to judge people or say a single mean word about them. She is rather helpful and tries her best to be polite. She might get feisty if she has to but not usually. She goes strictly by the rules. She feels they are there for a reason: to protect us. If you break them then someone is going to get hurt. She likes to be organized and have everything planned out. It makes life easier for her that way. She doesn’t like to try much of anything that is different to her. Soph is more private and isn’t the kind to be a risk taker. She can be mighty bossy which helps when she has to enforce the rules.
If there is a problem (most likely relationship wise), she tends to run away from it instead of just dealing with it. She isn’t much open for any type of change. There is not one spontaneous urge inside of her. She has everything the way she likes it and that is that. You have to be very careful around her because she gets easily offended. Once that happens it is hard to make her happy with you again. She does tend to hold some long grudges. This seventeen year old is a great listener and will try to help you by giving some advice. Sophia can be a great ball of energy at times. At times like that, she’ll release the pent up energy on walks outside or around the castle. If you give Sophia a task you can count on her to finish it. She prides herself on being reliable. She definitely has a very positive outlook on life despites the things she’s been through. She still is an affectionate person with a lot of love to give someday. She is shy in a way and doesn’t like much attention drawn to her. She would rather sit in a secluded area and read.

HISTORY:
Sophia and her twin sister are the oldest children in the Woods family. This two sisters grew to be really close. Yet, Sophia always felt like she was sort of left behind in her sister’s shadow. She was never bothered by it being the timid one. As she grew up she felt it was her responsibility to watch over the younger ones. In fact, when she got her acceptance letter all she thought about was worrying how her siblings would get along. What would they do without her helping them along? Altogether, she had a pretty much normal life growing up. The house was certainly never dull with four kids. There was always some disaster going on inside.
She arrived at Hogwarts and was promptly sorted into Hufflepuff. Her other siblings were all sorted into different houses. She was sad to not have any of them in the same house. She got used to being on her own and started to be more confident. It was her fourth year at Hogwarts when she met him. He was a year above her and a Slytherin. This was before she was guarded so she was a tad naïve. It didn’t take long for her to fall for him. They had only been dating for three months when he got violent. He would slap her and punch her if he lost his temper with her. She didn't tell anyone and tried to cover it up. Things went too far when he actually cut her wrist. She had enough then and left him for good.
Her fifth year she was appointed prefect. It was the greatest honor she had ever received. It gave her a chance to concentrate on something else besides her scare which was an ever constant reminder of the past. She took the job seriously which lead her to becoming Head Girl this last year. She has finally gained some limelight of her own with this title. Her parents are very proud of her which makes her feel special. It has given her a new confidence to maybe break out of her timid shell.
NEED TO KNOW
ROLEPLAY SAMPLE:Jasmine walked through the hidden entrance into Mungo’s. She was here to start her day. She loved her job. She got to spend her entire day helping others in need. He sighed happily as she greeted other fellow Healers. She went to the front desk to receive her chart. She checked it over. She had a lot to do today. She had a guy who had been bitten by a werewolf to deal with. Another who had been bitten by a venomous snake. She shook her as she continued to read. There was also someone who had gotten a nasty burn from a dragon. She sighed wondering why people didn’t seem to be careful. Of course many of them just happen to be accidents but still. She wondered how everyone seemed to be getting injured by such creatures. She could only imagine why some of these people had been where they were when they had gotten hurt. She sometimes wondered if the majority of them were doing something illegal and had gotten hurt in the process. She hoped that wasn’t the case.
She walked to the elevator so she could go up to the first floor. Once she was in and had pushed the button, she waited impatiently for the doors to open. She stepped out once the doors had opened. She smiled as she reach the ward door. She opened it slowly. She knew the poor guy that had been bitten tended to be a tad bit jumpy. ”Hello,” she said brightly once she was in. She tended to the snake bite first. She grabbed some bandages and exchanged them for the old ones fast so the blood couldn’t escape. She also replenished his blood since he was losing it rapidly. She smiled at him politely before turning to tend to the werewolf. She took a flask of werewolf’s bane potion that sat on a self in his little section. She made him drink it and asked how he felt. Of course it was nothing more than a murmured ’fine’. She looked at him with a worried glance. Why did the patients never want to explain more than just a simple ‘fine’. It didn’t help the Healers cure them any faster if they didn’t cooperate and tell them more about their situation.
She just shook her head and moved on to the one with the dragon burn. She just put some soothing anti-burn ointment on it. He sighed in relief as the cool substance hit his skin. It was still green and swelled though. She was glad that she could help all of them. It made her feel as if she was doing something important with her life. She walked towards the door promising them she’d be back to check on them every so often. She sat down on a bench not far from the room. She began to record everything down on her chart. She noted that the burn was getting better now. She wasn’t sure about the other poor lad. He didn’t seem to be taken too well to the fact that he was now a werewolf. She thought about the snake bite for a bit. She wasn’t sure what to do about that. She figured maybe good old fashioned staples might work. Surely, those would seal up the wounds that the snake had inflicted. She couldn’t be a hundred percent sure though. It was always risky business tampering with muggle sciences. Especially, since they were so far behind.
She pondered that before she wrought down some more notes. She kept checking on them periodically throughout the day. She would help them whenever they needed it. She would reapply the ointment and replenish the blood. Besides that it was a slow moving day. She would walk around surveying what else happened to be going on around the rest of the hospital. She never wondered too far away or for too long. She was always right there for when she was needed. She was nothing if not efficient. She wanted to do her job right. It was the way she had been raised. So she always put her best into everything she did in her life. She never did anything less than that. It was sad for it seemed as if she had been programmed like a robot that way. She ran her fingers through her hair as she went to check on them once more. She didn’t have to do much. Whatever she had to do she hummed as she did it. She was always in such bright and happy moods. She liked it that way though and sometimes it made the patients happy as well.
She yawned as she glanced at the clock. It was almost the end of her shift. She eyed the door as the other Healer entered. She was sad to leave but she knew she couldn’t stay all day. She warily said goodbye to the patients as the other healer came to take over. She gave the chart to her and proceeded to leave and go back down the elevator. She stepped out into the crowded ground floor. She couldn’t believe how many people ended up here everyday. She sometimes wondered if there were any wizard and witches out in the world anymore. The way they seemed to just pour inside here seeking some sort of medical attention or antidote. She chuckled. How could so many people get hurt in a day? What did these people do during their days? She was always amazed by it. She wasn’t the most careful person, herself, but she managed not to land herself in here for any medical needs. She left the hospital somewhat ready to go home and relax. Of course she knew she would miss this place. She would always be waiting for the next day when it would begin all over again. She wondered if there would be anyone new there. Sometimes they would bring them in after her shift. She would just have to wait and see. It was easier said then done for her.
Jas had a full load on her hands today. She had a patient with dragon pox., another with a vanishing type of sickness, and one with scrofungulus. She was sort of nervous because some of these could be contagious. She quickly retrieved her chart and made her way to the second floor. She stepped out into the ward. She found her gloves and put them on quickly over both her hands. She also covered her mouth and nose with a mask. She was very cautious considering she did not want to get one of these sicknesses. She sighed as she opened the door to the room. She greeted all of them brightly although they looked a tad bit dismal and dreary. She looked at the sunflowers that sat in their windows. She hoped that it might’ve cheered them up after all it had been a gift from each of their families when they had visited them. Of course it didn’t seem to have had the effect she was hoping for. They all seemed as dreary as ever. It was almost like all the happiness had been sucked out of them. She knew they must just be sick and tired of this place.
She always tried to lift their spirits. She would sing to them sometimes. No matter what nothing seemed to work. She sighed as she began to start her job. She was proud of her work. After all she had done everything she could to get where she was today. She had studied hard and worked hard most of her school years. She hadn’t even had anytime for any fun. Of course she had the mentality that you could only be successful if you worked at it. It probably wasn’t the healthiest way of thinking. She checked over her chart again. She was trying to see what they needed as well as any notes the other Healer might’ve written. She just wanted to make sure she did her job efficiently. That way these people could leave here as soon as possible. Not that she was ever eager to get rid of any of them. In fact she had grown to like some of them that had passed through her ward. Yet, she always awaited new arrivals. She loved reviewing new sicknesses. She loved any chance she got to learn. She would sometimes pour over all the information she could gather about anything she didn’t know about. She even spent her time outside of work looking it all over trying to figure out the best way to cure it. It was one of many perks or things she liked about her job.
She first went to tend to the dragon pox. She was glad that Gunhilda of Gorsemoor had invented a cure for this illness. She looked at them sympathetically as she tended to their green and pockmarked skin. She truly did feel sorry for the patients sometimes. Now dealing with the vanishing sickness tended to be very tricky but with such skilled healers the case seemed to be getting better. As for the scrofungulus, it seemed to take a little longer to heal or cure considering it was also contagious. She helped them all giving them treatments or anything else they happened to need. She sat in the room with them considering she couldn’t really spread anything that was considered to be catch able. She blinked as she watched them just lay there. Sometimes they would read a book or at least entertain themselves in some sort of way. She hoped they would all get better soon so they could go out and rejoin their families. She knew she would hate to be stuck in here all the time. So she imagined it must be awful for them.
She scribbled down some notes along with what she had done that day. She also wrote down their prognosis. She didn’t have to much time before she was back on her feet doing something. If the patients did need anything, she would be found scrubbing the place down with as much disinfectant as she could. She always thought it was better safe than sorry. She figured if she kept the room as clean as possible it might help them recover faster. She wasn’t sure if it actually did work but it was worth trying. She had always felt that people in this ward needed the most care. Of course she could be wrong but that was how she felt. She was very tired by the end of her shift. She handed the clipboard to next healer quickly. She was somewhat eager to leave. After all if you stayed in there too long you might tend to feel as if you should be sick or you caught their disease. It was sort of nerve-wracking or maybe just paranoia. She wasn’t sure. She hurried out of the elevator careful not to touch anything.
She went into the bathroom and disposed of the gloves and mask. She then scrubbed her hands, arms, and as much as she could get clean. She couldn’t wait to get home and take a nice, long shower. That would be the only way she could be sure she had not caught any sickness. She always felt dirty after a days work. She always felt better after she was cleaned up. She left Mungo’s and began to journey home. She eagerly awaited getting cleaned up. She would admit she could be a bit of a germaphobe. Not bad enough that she didn’t love her job though. Which she did even though it dealt with highly contagious diseases. She was still helping others. She thought that was one of the most important thing a person could do in their life. It always made her feel good about herself. As if she was making an impression on other’s lives. She sometimes did get some thank you cards or notes from previous cured patients. She really appreciated them and had them on her beside table. It always reminded her that she had the best job in the world.
